There is a lot happening at PAWING as we strive towards our goals of helping animals and caring for those that have sanctuary with us at PAWING HQ. Shortly, we will be holding a meeting with our new trustees with a view to establishing an agreed Constitution which will clearly set out our aims and objectives. One of our new trustees has been helping us with a new way of setting out our charity accounts and others have fresh and exciting new ideas to help PAWING grow and improve. One such idea was centred on our image, and after a lot of discussion and a heap of drawings, Mark at DarkStorm Design re-designed our logo to bring the PAW and WING together! We hope you all like the new us!
With only just over two years to go before battery cages are outlawed, one would think we should all be celebrating the end of a system that should never have existed in the first place.
As well as caring for our own rescued animals, we want to be able to help as many other animals as possible. For instance, we want to be able to donate to sanctuaries to ease their financial burdens and to individuals who run small rescues and have large vet bills. We also want to help fund the work of individuals and groups who work hard to get feral cats neutered. None of this is possible without your support. Please help us help the animals and donate to our emergency fund today. Thank you.
PAWING provides shelter, care and veterinary treatment for a small amount of unwanted/mistreated animals, and we also support any small charity that exists to directly and legally help animals and will work to raise funds not only for our own rescued creatures, but also for sanctuaries, groups and individuals by promoting appeals on our website. PAWING will help campaigns to help any animal in need by adding links to ongoing requests for help. PAWING supports vegan ethics and strives to promote the benefits of a vegan lifestyle.
