Pets And Wildlife In Need of Giving

With the freezing weather behind us, we are eagerly looking forward to a busy (and warmer!) Spring and Summer which will hopefully hold plenty of fundraising opportunities.

Despite the recent cold weather, PAWING has been very busy preparing for new arrivals and continuing with a gentle training programme for Poppy, our rescued pup who was left traumatized by a cruel start in life and no less than two threats of euthanasia hanging over her. George the Labrador is being trained alongside her and already, the positive results have been astounding.

We have lots of news about the hens, including our most recent arrivals and how they are settling in. We were also delighted to have been of assistance to the wonderful Coventry co-ordinators of The Battery Hen Welfare Trust on the day we travelled to collect our new girls. We recently had an opportunity to talk to Tony Peters, the co-founder of Greyhound Action, the campaign to end greyhound racing. We wanted to learn more about how a ‘night at the dogs’ contributes to the suffering and cruelty of these beautiful dogs and were amazed at what we were told. Read all about the incredible interview in our Featured Campaign

Finally, work continues on PAWING’s garden to section off two areas for the hens and the dogs which means that the new hens can get used to our hen-friendly dogs whilst the dogs are in a separate area and can see, but not sniff the hens.  We hope you enjoy reading about all our latest endeavors to help animals that have had such a bad start in life and please remember, none of this would be possible without the donations we receive. Please, please, consider making a donation to PAWING so we can continue with our vital work. Thank you.
We want to be able to help as many animals as possible. For instance, we want to be able to donate to sanctuaries to ease their financial burdens, to individuals who run small rescues and have large vet bills, pensioners and the unwaged towards lifesaving operations on their pets. We also want to help fund the work of individuals and groups who work hard to get feral cats neutered. None of this is possible without your support. Please help us help the animals and donate to our emergency fund today. Thank you.
PAWING supports any charity that exists to directly and legally help animals and will work to raise funds for sanctuaries, groups and individuals by promoting appeals on our website. PAWING will help campaigns to help any animal in need by adding links to ongoing requests for help. PAWING supports vegan ethics and strives to promote the benefits of a vegan lifestyle.
